The Risotto with Breme Red Onion (De.C.O.) is prepared with our certified Carnaroli rice: it's a risotto that combines two products from our beloved Lomellina, skillfully united to enhance the culture, customs, and traditions of our territory... Carnaroli rice and Breme red onion!
The Breme red onion, also known as "The Sweetest," is a special variety of onion grown in the area surrounding the town of Breme, in Lomellina, and therefore in the province of Pavia.

Ingredients
Classic Carnaroli Rice (90%), granular vegetable broth (salt, potato starch and maltodextrin, dehydrated vegetables (carrot, celery, parsley), sunflower oil, natural flavors, spices), rice flour, Breme DE.C.O* onion (1.7%). *Dried ingredient.

May contain: sesame seeds, mustard, soy.

Preparation
In a pan, heat two tablespoons of oil, toast the contents of the packet for about a minute while stirring continuously, add ½ glass of white wine if desired and stir for a few seconds, cover with 900 ml of hot water, do not add salt or other seasonings. During cooking, stir occasionally and add a little hot water if necessary until fully cooked (about 18 minutes). Off the heat, stir in butter to taste.
