Baldo Classico Parboiled Rice is obtained through a parboiling process that involves steaming the raw grain before refining. This treatment allows a significant part of the nutrients present in the external part of the bean to be transferred inwards, improving its nutritional profile and making it more resistant to cooking.

The grain, long and crystalline, maintains a firm and compact consistency even after prolonged cooking. Not overcooking easily, it is ideal for dishes that require tightness, such as rice salads, side dishes and large preparations for catering or collective catering.

Obtained from “CLASSICO” certified seeds, it combines the typical qualities of Baldo – excellent absorption of condiments and moderate release of starch – with practicality of daily use.

Curiosity:
Parboiled rice cooks more quickly than brown rice, but retains a good portion of the nutrients. In addition, it does not stick and keeps well even after cooking, qualities appreciated in professional and domestic settings.
