Vialone Nano rice is a typical variety of the Bassa Veronese, closely linked to the territory and its particular agricultural vocation. Its cultivation takes place exclusively in areas irrigated with spring water, coming from the upper hydrographic basin of the Tartaro river: an element that helps to define its quality and typicality.

The grains, rounded and medium-sized (about 5–6 millimeters), have a compact structure and a good resistance to cooking. These characteristics make it a versatile rice appreciated in many preparations: from the most delicate risottos to soups, up to more creative dishes, always enhanced by its full and harmonious flavor.
