Der landwirtschaftliche Betrieb Ferraris Luigi liegt in der Provinz Pavia, im Herzen der Lomellina (dem Reisland), und bewirtschaftet 130 Hektar mit Reis, Mais und Pappeln.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der seit 1987 bestehende Betrieb ist auf den Anbau der Reissorten Carnaroli Classico<\/a>, Baldo Classico<\/a>, S.Andrea Classico<\/a>, Arborio<\/a> und Originario<\/a> spezialisiert, mit einer Produktion von etwa 700\/800 Tonnen Rohreis (Paddy) pro Jahr. Der Betrieb investiert viel in die sorgf\u00e4ltige Qualit\u00e4tsauswahl des Saatguts, da er Saat-Rohreis f\u00fcr mehrere Saatgutunternehmen der Region erzeugt. Agronomisch setzt der Betrieb auf die Fruchtfolge: Sie unterbricht die Reis-Monokultur und erlaubt es, die Menge an Pflanzenschutzmitteln und chemischen D\u00fcngern zu begrenzen \u2013 zum Schutz der Umwelt.<\/p>\n

Mittelpunkt des Betriebs ist die \u201eCascina Alberona\u201c, in der der Reis als Fertigprodukt direkt an die Verbraucher abgegeben wird. Die Verpackung erfolgt mit der modernen Vakuumtechnik.<\/p>\n

Ein Erbe, das \u00fcber die Zeit hinaus weiterlebt.

Luigi Ferraris, Inhaber des Betriebs, begann nach seinem Agrarstudium am Istituto Agrario in Castelfranco Veneto 1988 seine T\u00e4tigkeit im Flachland der Bassa Lomellina bei Mortara, 40 km von Pavia entfernt, im Herzen der typischen Reisanbauregion. Luigi f\u00fchrt die landwirtschaftliche T\u00e4tigkeit fort, die bereits seine Gro\u00dfeltern v\u00e4terlicherseits auf drei verschiedenen Cascine der Lomellina aus\u00fcbten: \u201eLa Felicita\u201c, \u201eMontebello\u201c und \u201eAlberona\u201c, nachdem sie die L\u00e4ndereien des Hofes in Romagnano Sesia im Novarese verlassen hatten.<\/p>\n

Im Lauf der Jahre ist die Leidenschaft f\u00fcr diese Arbeit stetig gewachsen \u2013 und mit ihr der Wunsch, den Endverbrauchern und der Gastronomie n\u00e4herzukommen. So entstand in den letzten Jahren die Idee, einen Direktverkauf ins Leben zu rufen, in dem man die Lomellina \u201egenie\u00dfen\u201c kann. Durch den Anbau und anschlie\u00dfend den Direktverkauf von Reis m\u00f6chte der Betrieb dazu beitragen, die Reiskultur zu verbreiten \u2013 als Produkt mit zahlreichen ern\u00e4hrungsphysiologischen und sensorischen Qualit\u00e4ten.<\/strong><\/p>\n
